As a Trade Applications Officer, you'll play a key role in onboarding new Members to Capricorn, processing and assessing trade applications, and ensuring compliance and quality standards.

- Process and assess all new trade applications, Member updates, change of legal entity requests and account terminations in line with KYC, Internal Policies and Service Level Agreements.
- Use internal decision-flow tools to review credit reports and support the approval process.
- Perform searches on relevant regulatory and government platforms, including property reporting for prospective Members.
- Review financial statements, assess external insurance information, and prepare detailed business cases that include recommendations for approval.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with Area Managers, Credit, Assurance and Compliance Teams to ensure all applications are accurate, consistent, and compliant.
- Support the wider team with administrative and clerical tasks as required.
- Strong stakeholder management skills — you're confident building relationships and working collaboratively with a range of internal and external contacts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication — clear, concise, and professional.
- Proven ability to deliver high quality, accurate work in a service focused role.
- A curious mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to balance accuracy with efficiency.
- Experience in a credit risk, lending or financial services role desirable.
