The Controls Engineering Supervisor is a team leader of a selected number of Controls Engineers responsible for managing and training direct employees, mentoring new hires, and participating in regular manpower meetings.
Requirements
- Design of complete building automation systems
- Creation of sequences of operation for the control of all building systems
- Documentation of the BAS design and revision control of the resultant documents
- Site-specific configuration of the WebCTRL system
- Programming of control algorithms
- Development of graphical and text-based interfaces
- Testing of programming and interfaces
- Functional testing of complex building systems
- Final documentation of the building automation system
- Adherence to project requirements and company and customer standards
- Technical support during the selling process
- Mentorship and development of other Controls Engineers
- Preform software and hardware quality control reviews
- Coordination of deliverable dates and milestones
- Lead and participate in performance reviews
- Clear communication and proactive expectation setting
- Maintenance and advisement of customer and company design and programming standards
- Adherence to safety standards
- Interviewing potential candidates for open Engineering positions
- Adherence to ethics standards
