Senior Supervisor – Controls System Design Engineering

At Automated Logic (ALC), we're seeking a high-caliber Senior Supervisor to spearhead the architecture and deployment of sophisticated building automation solutions. This role requires technical leadership, mentoring emerging engineering talent, and mitigating operational risks through rigorous validation and cross-functional collaboration.

Design and program advanced building automation systems, site-specific configuration of control system, and control algorithms. Provide technical support to sales representatives, identify and communicate project opportunities and risks, and support functional testing for complex building systems.

Requirements

• University degree with 4+ years of design experience in HVAC controls or Building Automation
• College, technical qualification or completed trade school with 6+ years of design experience in HVAC controls or Building Automation
• High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of design experience in HVAC controls or Building Automation
• Manage/supervise a team
• EDS software knowledge
• Advanced degree in Engineering or Construction discipline
• Experience in HVAC controls, Building Automation, or related industry
• Proficient with primary functions of building automation system software and associated engineering tools, Automated Logic suites
• Strong working knowledge of complex Automated Logic software, hardware, peripherals, add-ons, and services
• Proficient with third-party communication protocols used in building automation, such as BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, LON, N2, etc.
• Understand Enterprise IP networks and Microsoft Visio, or similar software
• Proficient with written sequences of operations, diagrammatic depictions of systems
• Translate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade, and capable of lifting items up to 50 lbs
