Director, Scientific Product Development

The Director of Scientific Product Development will lead the development of scientific services at the Nottingham facility, providing strategic guidance and oversight to the Product Development team. This role will require a strong understanding of pharmaceutical sciences, experience in product design and development, and the ability to manage operational budgets and expenses.

Requirements

• Education to degree level or higher in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry or physical sciences
• Greater than 10 years' experience in pharmaceutical product design, development and manufacturing
• In-depth understanding of the formulation development of simple and complex oral dosage forms and the supporting analytical methodologies and characterisation techniques
• Problem-solving skills and ability to facilitate problem-solving
• Risk management skills
• Understanding of regulatory and quality requirements in the markets and the application of ICH guidelines
