Contract Shortform & Ad Scriptwriter

CatFace is seeking a talented Shortform & Ad Scriptwriter to assist our Marketing team in creating scripts for ads and shorts, across our Shuki, Aphmau, and Stories channels. The ideal collaborator will research trends, craft engaging, audience-focused scripts, and maintain consistent, captivating storytelling that connects with our child and young adult viewers.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a scriptwriter or in a similar creative role
• Proven experience writing for young adult or children’s media
• Ability to write dialogue, edit, and proofread, along with an eye for tone, pacing, and emotional resonance
• Familiarity with Minecraft lore
• Knowledge of Blockbuster mod
• Ability to interpret and apply feedback to refine content designed for children and young adults
• An analytical mindset to apply viewer insights and/or video metrics into increased content engagement
• Capable of managing individual projects independently, while also collaborating effectively with producers, editors, and creative leads
