Project Engineer

Role Overview

The Project Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining timely and accurate output of technical engineering support and managing assigned projects while working closely with all business unit departments. Responsible for coordinating international 3D drafting team to ensure correctness of technical drawings and compliance to specifications, as well as being responsible for system integration of air pollution control package systems.

What You Will Do

Analyzes project specifications and performance requirements to determine the appropriate equipment design. Provides engineering and technical support to Project Management team on Original Equipment projects. Provides technical support to aftermarket team as needed.

Requirements

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 8+ years engineering experience
• Experience interfacing with marketing, sales, manufacturing, and vendors regarding solution of product problems and translation of customer requirements into product specifications
• Ability to demonstrate creativity and analytical engineering skills in the application of technologies to new projects
• Savvy working with multidisciplinary and intercultural teams
• Experience in European package supplies to meet European Norms and Standards (PED, Machine Directive and CE marking etc.)
• Ability to overcome obstacles to achieve goals and adapt to a changing environment
• Experience using MS Office, Excel, and other normal business software
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD 3D or Solid Edge or Hicad
