Engineer, Manufacturing Equipment

The Engineer, Manufacturing Equipment is responsible for developing and sourcing manufacturing equipment to support manufacturing operations goals, including design and development of equipment, qualification, deployment, and optimization.

Requirements

• With minimal oversight, execute tasks in the equipment development project
• Execute the hardware and software improvements of automated lines and off the shelf equipment
• Liaise with multiple stakeholders for design, technical information and specifications
• Support correcting of technical problems impacting equipment validation activities
• Execute and optimize/improve maintenance plans and activities
• Support customer product road map using Celestica Automation E2E process and tools
• Drive problem solving and corrective actions related to causes of machine failures, speed loss or quality issues
