FPGA Team Lead

The Senior Staff Engineer, Hardware Design works with cross-functional teams to ensure robust and high-quality product development. They develop new electrical and mechanical systems, provide support throughout the manufacturing process, and lead global deployment efforts.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and implement technical solutions for complex projects
• Provide technical leadership and direction to a global team of engineers
• Take responsibility for non-technical elements of an engineering project
• Review and interpret customer specifications
• Analyze trade-offs in complex systems and recommend solutions
• Lead the deployment of strategic technologies/programs
• Manage relationships with key vendors/partners
• Research systems ideas and draw up plans for these systems
• Design, modify, and implement systems that meet customer and Celestica needs
• Create designs in line with Celestica procedures, regulations, and customer standards
• Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations
• Solve complex problems
• Liaison with suppliers, customers, contractors, and other internal teams
• Recommend system modifications
