Senior Staff Engineer (Hardware Design)

The Senior Staff Engineer, Electrical Design develops new electrical systems/circuits for various applications and provides support throughout their manufacturing. The role works in cross-functional teams with designers, customers, manufacturing engineering, and project leadership to ensure robust and high-quality product development.

Requirements

• Design, develop and implement technical solutions for complex projects
• Participate in project planning and scheduling
• Provide technical leadership and direction to a global team of engineers
• Review and interpret customer specifications
• Analyze trade-offs in complex systems and recommend solutions
• Lead the deployment of strategic technologies/programs
• Manage relationships with key vendors/partners
• Design, modify and implement systems that meet customer and Celestica needs
• Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations
