Job Description
The Group Leader/AmeriCorps - Activity Specialist will create and implement engaging literacy activities for K-5th grade students in an after-school program. The position requires a Bachelor's degree, bilingual English/Spanish skills, and experience creating literacy-based lesson plans.
Requirements
- Develop and implement engaging lessons that integrate literacy skills, social-emotional learning, and the arts
- Design activities that promote teamwork, communication, and experimentation in large and small group settings
- Utilize thoughtful group-management skills in a non-traditional classroom setting
