The Center for Justice Innovation is seeking a Program Manager, Community Safety to manage day-to-day operations of the Save Our Streets South Bronx program and support additional violence prevention efforts and new initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent significant lived experience
- Program management experience and community organizing abilities
- One year of supervisory experience
- Ability to work with at-risk youth and gang members
- Knowledge of violence prevention, community engagement and organizing, and youth engagement and support strategies
- Reside in or have an in-depth knowledge of Morrisania or Mott Haven
- Ability to walk 30 blocks or more on a regular basis
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes late evenings, weekends, and holidays
