
Job description
Work on an assigned vessel on a regular equal time schedule, assisting engineering and operations as directed by Regional General Manager. Schedule long-term maintenance, perform inspections, and assist with compiling worklists for routine and major maintenance.
Perform emergency repairs, work on special projects, and assist with training of engineers. Act as liaison between vessel engineers and CLG management, and assist with evaluating and training of engineers.
Must have experience maintaining tugs and barges, with a US Coast Guard license as DDE Unlimited or higher. Knowledge of oil transportation and marine industry preferred, with ability to work with others using courtesy, tact, and good judgment.
