Central Market (Southlake) Food Demo Tasting Specialist - Part time

Central Market is a specialty grocery store that offers a wide selection of food and drink products. The Food Demo Tasting Specialist will provide excellent customer service and promote sales by demonstrating and selling products to customers. This role requires moderate to broad food knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 1+ years of related experience in Selling and/or Customer Service
• Basic food knowledge and experience
• Knowledge of parings and flavor profiles and/or willingness to learn profiles
• Exhibit interest, knowledge and ability in food preparation and cooking methods
• Successfully complete the Foodie knowledge review annually
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as weights, discounts, percentages, and volume
