Sample Receiving Coordinator

Role Overview

The Sample Receiving Coordinator ensures efficient and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing samples and materials. This role takes a leadership approach to workflow coordination, provides guidance to junior staff, maintains compliance with ISO and quality control standards, and supports smooth laboratory operations.

What You Will Do

Accurately log customer samples into the LIMS system, handle associated products, maintain adherence to the daily work schedule, perform clerical reviews, verify data entry and sample information, and maintain cleanliness and organization of the sample receiving area.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Science or related field
• 2+ years of experience in sample receiving, shipping, or laboratory operations
• Knowledge of laboratory practices, aseptic techniques, and chain-of-custody procedures
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
• Experience training or mentoring others in workflow processes
• Proficiency with LIMS or similar laboratory data management systems
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs and stand for extended periods
