Founding Developer Experience Engineer

Cerve is seeking a Founding Developer Experience Engineer to shape how developers and customers interact with their API platform. The role involves advocating for developers, creating content, managing community, and influencing the roadmap to maximize platform adoption and value. This is a first-role position focused on bridging product, engineering, and customer needs.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in developer-facing or solution engineering roles, ideally at early-stage (Seed/Series A) API-first companies.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Deep technical expertise in APIs and SDKs.
• Strong programming background in at least one modern language.
• Experience in data infrastructure or security-sensitive API platforms.
