Supplier Quality Engineer II

CesiumAstro is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer II to join their team. The successful candidate will implement and maintain supplier quality processes and documentation, work cross-functionally with engineering and operations, and provide technical guidance to suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, or a related technical field
• Minimum of 3 years of supplier quality experience in aerospace and defense industries
• Experience managing suppliers for space-grade machining, PCBs, PCBAs, integrated assemblies, and test
• Demonstrated skills in supplier management, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interpret engineering documentation, requirements, and other supplier flow downs
• Experience with certified quality management systems such as AS9100 or ISO 9001
• Expertise in root cause analysis methodologies and corrective action implementation
• Ability to travel 20-40% of the time to supplier quality processes and audit suppliers
