
Job description
Performs basic patient care functions to assist the physician and nursing staff in a medical office. Assists in the operation of office as it relates to scheduling, referrals, and filing.
Performs basic medical care, schedules patient appointments, and performs receptionist duties. May chart on behalf of the provider and performs phlebotomy and EKG leads.
Prior experience as a medical assistant is preferred. Basic computer knowledge is also preferred.
