
Job description
Patient Registration Representatives provide customer-service coverage in the centralized Admitting office of CGH Hospital, responsible for successful financial outcomes of all patient services. They perform duties including pre-registration, time of service registration, insurance verification, and data entry, while maintaining patient relations and customer satisfaction.
Greet and register patients, gather and verify confidential health and financial information, verify insurance eligibility and benefits, and provide wayfinding services to direct patients to their destination.
This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, previous healthcare experience, and proficiency in computer software and typing skills. CHAA certification is preferred, and employees will have the opportunity to obtain it after 2 years of hire date.
