
Job description
Design, analyze, and optimize HVAC systems for government, commercial, and industrial buildings, ensuring energy efficiency and compliance with relevant codes and standards. Conduct site visits to assess existing HVAC and plumbing systems, identify deficiencies, and propose cost-effective solutions for upgrades or replacements. Perform comprehensive facilities condition assessments on government and/or military facilities, focusing on HVAC and plumbing systems.
Develop detailed plans, specifications, and drawings for HVAC and plumbing systems, including ductwork, piping layouts, equipment selection, and sizing calculations. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and simulation tools to model and simulate HVAC and plumbing systems. Prepare written reports and presentations summarizing findings, recommendations, and project updates for internal and external stakeholders.
We feel the following qualifications would set you up for success in this role: Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Minimum of 7 years in the consulting professional services industry, in the Mechanical Engineering Discipline, Licensure as a professional engineer.
