Job Description
The Pickleball Instructor plays a key role in delivering fun, safe, and engaging pickleball programs for both children and adults, leading instructional lessons, supporting daily program operations, and creating a welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Teach pickleball lessons to children and adults at assigned indoor and outdoor locations
- Plan and deliver age- and skill-appropriate instruction
- Maintain accurate attendance and lesson records
- Ensure a safe learning environment by following all Park District safety policies
- Inspect equipment before and after lessons and report needs or concerns
- Communicate regularly with the Sports Coordinator regarding programs and participants
- Promote pickleball programs and assist with other pickleball activities as needed
- Attend required staff meetings, trainings, and in-service sessions
- Uphold Park District policies, professionalism, and confidentiality standards
