Job Description
This part-time Assistant Girls Soccer Coach position at La Plata High School involves supporting Head Coaches in developing effective coaching programs. Responsibilities include skill development, practice planning, supervision of athletes, and enforcing school policies. The position requires adherence to NCAA regulations and adherence to school/county/state policies. It's a temporary, non-exempt, stipend position.
Requirements
- Teachers or certified educators employed by the local Board of Education.
- Persons certified as professional educators by the State Department of Education according to 13A.12.01.
- Credentialed coaches who meet the following requirement: Are eligible to hold a Maryland certificate under COMAR 13A.12.01.
- Possess a MPSSAA/MSDE Coaching Certification.
- Completed two years of successful coaching as an emergency coach.
- Spent the previous one year as a successful emergency coach at the school of hire.
