Design Engineer

Chart's Stafford, TX location is seeking a Design Engineer to plan, design and coordinate the integration of CPI parts and services into the compression industry. This successful candidate will interact with customers and field sales engineers to determine application requirements to identify and meet customer specific needs.

Requirements

• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in the reciprocating compressor or similar industry highly preferred
• Solid Works is required
• AutoCAD experience is preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft office suite preferred
• Demonstrated use of strong interpersonal skills in a customer facing capacity is required
• Experience in dealing with oil refining, and pipeline gathering, processing and storage facilities
• Experience dealing with highly matrixed organizations
• Strong attention to detail
• Desired skill in taking field measurements of mechanical equipment
