Field Service Engineer position at Howden, a global leader in air and gas handling products, services and solutions. The role involves servicing, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of compressor equipment, as well as site/project management, troubleshooting, and health and safety responsibilities.
Requirements
- Undertake servicing in terms of customer planned maintenance contracts
- Prepare detail planning and schedule
- Disassemble and check equipment
- Carry out required maintenance checks and repair activities
- Assemble and test run compressor equipment
- Produce daily and project reports of work done
- Installation and Commissioning of New Compressor Installations
- Supervise the installation, commissioning and start-up of big heavy duty compressor equipment
- Prepare planning schedules, update them periodically and have periodical progress meetings with customer representatives.
- Manage contract staff, liaise with client representative/s, budget management, maintain schedules including progress reports, QHSE management, quality control management, equipment management and accommodation management
- Carry out detailed machinery analysis, interpret results and liaise with Howden engineering department
- Take all reasonable care for own personal health and safety, as well as for that of everyone who may be affected by your action in your workplace
- Liaise and co-operate with company management with regards to the current health and safety legislation and obligations within the location and area where you performing your duties
