Job description
The Quality Engineer at Howden UK plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all products meet rigorous quality standards and customer expectations. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and international clients, and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong communication skills, and the ability to interpret complex specifications and technical drawings.
Write, monitor & update quality procedures, conduct quality audits, work with pre-contract and post-contract associates to develop and adapt project specific quality plans & dossiers, review & approve quality control documentation, and notify, liaise and assist Customer at any meeting.
Ideal candidates will bring engineering qualifications or equivalent experience in a QA/QC role within a manufacturing or engineering environment, with familiarity with ISO 9001, quality plans, and lean tools.
