Job Description
Chef Robotics is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Platform to design, implement, and maintain the cloud infrastructure powering their robotics platform. The role involves provisioning robots, enabling remote software updates, and developing scalable cloud infrastructure to support real-time robotics operations. They are backed by investors like Kleiner Perkins, Construct, Bloomberg BETA and Promus Ventures and are looking for candidates from companies like Cruise, Zoox, Google, Verb Surgical, Tesla, Nuro, Vicarious, Amazon Robotics, Strateos, Built Robotics, Facebook, Plenty, Yelp, and Microsoft.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps roles
- Expert knowledge of cloud infrastructure and deployment (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong proficiency with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Extensive experience with CI/CD practices and infrastructure-as-code principles
- Experience with system monitoring, logging, and performance optimization
- Understanding of secure data pipeline design and implementation
