E&I Technician

Role Overview

We are seeking an E&I Technician to join our team in Starke, Florida. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing highly skilled maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting work involved with electrical systems for mining and mineral processing facilities. The role will involve working closely with maintenance and operations teams in a mining and mineral processing environment.

What You Will Do

Daily activities include ensuring all work is performed within company, state, and federal regulations, maintaining and servicing all machinery, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical distribution systems, and responding to routine and emergency calls for repairs and service.

Why It Might Be a Fit

To be successful in this role, you must possess knowledge of methods and techniques of troubleshooting, repairing, and installing plant equipment, as well as programmable logic controls, co-processors, DCS, SCADA, and wireless systems. You should also be able to troubleshoot and maintain plant equipment, machinery, and related facilities, and operate power hand tools and other specialized electrical equipment.

Requirements

• High School graduate and Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Five (5) to ten (10) years related experience as an E&I Mechanic in an industrial environment and/or training
• Knowledge of the National Electric Code required and familiarity with NFPA Arc Flash safety regulations, valid Journeyman Certification
