Database Engineer

We are looking for a Database Engineer to design and build high-performance, scalable database systems that support millions of daily chess games, user interactions, and a large-scale social network.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional database engineering experience
• Expert-level proficiency with MySQL
• Strong software engineering skills with proficiency in Python and/or Go
• Experience designing and building data pipelines
• Strong experience with Redis
• Advanced Linux systems knowledge
• Experience with distributed systems concepts
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools
• Experience with monitoring and observability platforms
• Strong understanding of query optimization
