We are looking for a Database Engineer to design and build high-performance, scalable database systems that support millions of daily chess games, user interactions, and a large-scale social network.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional database engineering experience
- Expert-level proficiency with MySQL
- Strong software engineering skills with proficiency in Python and/or Go
- Experience designing and building data pipelines
- Strong experience with Redis
- Advanced Linux systems knowledge
- Experience with distributed systems concepts
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms
- Strong understanding of query optimization
