Job Description
Children of the Nations Volunteer Prayer Advocates are an incredible group of supporters who regularly pray for the children and the ministry of Children of the Nations at a deeper level. The team meets regularly to cover ministry updates with prayer and praises. We get to see God answer prayer!
Requirements
- Active member of your local church
- Current COTN child sponsors are a plus but not required
- Strong faith and dependence on Jesus Christ
- Demonstrated and sincere interest in Children of the Nation's ministry
- A commitment to pray for COTN children
- Ability to invest 1 – 2 hours per week in the Volunteer Prayer Advocate Program
- Friendly demeanor with an interest in faithfully upholding COTN in prayer
- Strong commitment to uphold and support COTN's Mission, Vision, Core Values, Operating Principles, and Code of Conduct
- Advocates for our children, raising awareness of their needs and potential, and challenging and enabling those within one's sphere of influence to greater involvement with COTN
