
Job description
Under the supervision of the site administrator, provides an educational program for pupils in grades 1-6 and assists in other school programs as assigned. Creates a flexible elementary grade program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth.
Teach language arts, social studies, mathematics, science, art, health, physical education, music, and other appropriate learning activities to students in a classroom. Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and provide individualized and small group instruction.
Must have a California Teaching Credential, CLAD Authorization or equivalent, and a Bachelor's Degree. Must be able to establish a desirable example for students and meet District standards for physical and mental health.
