
Job description
The Manufacturing Engineer will be a key hands-on contributor to the Cisco-Acacia Optics Operations Team, interacting with internal stakeholders and outsourced manufacturing partners to enable the rapidly growing and expanding portfolio of Coherent pluggables and embedded modules.
Generate and maintain detailed assembly and inspection instructions, provide process development support, initiate and direct the design of production tooling, fixtures, and automation equipment, drive continuous improvement, and achieve all gate review checklist actions.
The ideal candidate will be adaptable, high agency, influence & positive impact, ownership, results-oriented, and a team player with a strong background in optical/electronics manufacturing, assembly automation equipment, and CAD software.
