The Ops Support Lead Analyst role is a senior lead position responsible for providing oversight of enterprise-wide and business-related projects that affect Financial Services Investigations (FSI). This role is responsible for driving Project outcomes aligned to Financial Services Investigation strategy and vision in accordance with USCC Core Operations.
Requirements
- Support Product and Finance initiatives relating to Personal Installment Loan, Balance Sheet account mapping, with ability to design flows and speak to architecture constraints/benefits for new processes arising from FSI projects.
- Articulate Project expectations and ability to concisely explain process enhancements and strategic initiatives to Senior Leadership.
- Key stakeholder and FSI project participant, ensuring adequate control design for new processes, and that existing processes are not compromised when Project implements.
- Analyze and calculate needed capacity to ensure Project optimizes productivity, improves inventory throughput, and that the Project outcome is in accordance with business requirements.
- Provide continuous iterative exploration of project related data and review impacted FSI processes and procedures to improve operational performance in tandem with implementing strategic initiatives.
- Ensure timely and accurate responses for Project deliverables and escalate risk as appropriate.
- Proactive identification and use of risk management practices within supported projects that reduce exposure and fortify efficiency;
- Collaborate with Issue Management groups and open Issue Corrective Action Plans as necessary.
- Provide input and apply methodologies that ensure FSI Project deliverables are provided on time and ability to collaborate across business lines to influence positive outcomes.
- Support Account Owner of Balance Sheet General Ledger accounts, as necessary, and adhere to the Balance Sheet Substantiation governance framework (proper month-end close).
- Review FSI Project methodologies and practices that they align with audit expectation.
- Ensure Project and resulting process functions operate at the highest standard of quality, minimizing Regulatory risks, while ensuring customers have positive experience with the product.
- Execute based on facts and drawing from a diverse range of internal and external sources in complicated, unique, and dynamic situations.
- Data driven decision making.
- Negotiate internally, able to recommend next course of action to senior management, with ability to navigate and engage in business appropriate confrontation with business partners to advocate for proper, business aligned, outcomes.
- Appropriately assess risk prior to implementing changes to a process, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
