Youth Sports Instructor

The City of Edgewater is seeking a part-time Youth Sports Instructor to supervise, instruct, referee, and organize practices and games for our youth sports programs. The position requires excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and handle the public in a friendly and professional manner.

Requirements

• Design and execute practice plans that are age and skill appropriate for the team being coached.
• Set up all equipment necessary for practices and competitions.
• Referee other team's games when not assigned to coach during competitions.
• Communicate effectively and efficiently with Programs Coordinator and Program Specialist.
• Maintain a safe environment for program participants.
