Water Utility Mechanic (Trainee, Mechanic, & Senior)

The Water Utility Mechanic role involves maintaining and operating the city's water and wastewater infrastructure in a safe, effective, and efficient manner. The role requires direct supervision and assistance with maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment. The incumbent must be on-call on a rotating basis.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of full-time experience in the operation and maintenance of a water distribution or wastewater collection system
• Valid Class B Texas Commercial Driver's license with the Tanker endorsement
• Class D Water Operator License from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality
