Job Description
The Recreation, Culture and Facility Services department is responsible for the day-to-day operation of facilities and provision of services for recreation sites and programs, park and recreation policies and cultural services programs. The incumbent will participate in the delivery of the Therapeutic Leisure Program and Daily Living Skills Program.
Requirements
- College diploma in a related field or equivalent experience with clients with special needs
- At least 1 to 3 years of experience working with adults with a disability
- General first aid certificate, CPR or DEA certification
- Certification in crisis prevention/intervention training
- Customer Service LAPHO/National Aboriginal Institute (NAI) training
- Ergonomic lifting and transfer operations training
- Client medical care training
