Job Description
The City of Victoria is hiring a Catch Basin Cleaner Operator to support our Underground Utilities Team at Public Works. In this hands-on role, you’ll operate a vacuum-equipped tandem axle truck to clean and maintain catch basins, underground vaults, and related infrastructure that protect the city from flooding and system failures.
Requirements
- High school graduation
- Wastewater Collection System Operator Level 1 Certificate (40 hours)
- Current and valid Class 3 B.C. Driver's Licence with air brake endorsement
- 2 years of related experience including underground systems and equipment operation
