Lead Mechanical Engineer

Role Overview

Lead a small team of machinists to design and fabricate parts for equipment, manage a department, and utilize a company maintenance system to identify high-volume items for internal production.

What You Will Do

Machine parts to specifications, train team members, set up and operate specialized machine tools, measure and test completed units, and maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
• Experience supervising or leading a small team
• Knowledge of CAD and scanning equipment
• Ability to lead a CNC internal program
• Demonstrated experience reverse engineering parts
• Working knowledge of FDM 3D printing
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
