Machine Operator

Role Overview

Perform a variety of tasks surrounding the set-up and operation of a machine that applies a dust jacket to the outside of a book. Supervise the crew for safety, quality and machine productivity.

What You Will Do

Read job tickets and follow instructions. Set up and operate the jacket and carton machine according to job specifications, along with all safety, quality, productivity, and other bindery processes.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to do basic trouble shooting when the equipment is not functioning
• High School diploma or GED
