Manufacturing Engineering Technician II

The Manufacturing Engineering Technician Level 2 is responsible for implementing, documenting, and improving manufacturing processes. The role requires a deeper understanding of manufacturing workflows, ability to identify opportunities for improvement, and capacity to work independently.

Requirements

• Develop and maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing processes, including SOPs, work instructions, process flow diagrams and equipment layouts.
• Support in the implementation of process improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Assist in the collection and analysis of production data to identify trends and areas for potential process improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process issues, minimizing production downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections of processes to identify potential issues before they cause failures.
• Provide training and support to Level 1 technicians on documentation standards and basic process improvement techniques.
• Assist engineers in evaluating new manufacturing technologies and methods.
• Collaborate in the design of tooling and fixturing for production environments.
