Senior Software Engineer - Egress

Role Overview

The Egress team owns a critical aspect of Cloudflare's network-as-a-service: Egress connectivity for various products. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll contribute to cutting-edge network software infrastructure, working with multiple Engineering teams and Network Engineering/SRE to ensure seamless connectivity.

You'll participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, designing systems, writing code, and collaborating with teams to translate requirements into new capabilities on the platform.

Requirements

• Programming experience in Go or Rust
• Solid grasp of networking protocols in Layers 3 and 4 of the OSI Model
• Knowledge of HTTP, TLS, and CDN networks
• Experience in implementing secure and highly-available distributed systems
• Strong ability to debug issues in complex systems
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
