CME is seeking a GPR Technician to join our team. This role involves using advanced technology to locate and map underground utilities, supporting safe and accurate excavation.
Requirements
- Use electromagnetic locating equipment to identify and mark underground utilities
- Operate GPR systems to detect and map subsurface structures, objects, and anomalies
- Review and interpret data from utility locate and GPR systems, creating detailed maps and reports
- Conduct field surveys and inspections to verify utility locations and assess site conditions
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of utility locations, GPR data, and field observations
- Adhere to safety protocols and standards to ensure safe working conditions on job sites
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of findings and recommendations
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of utility locating and GPR equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to support project requirements and objectives
