The Driver will provide safe transportation of residents to and from various destinations, assisting with safe onboarding and offboarding as necessary. The ideal candidate is friendly, patient, and committed to providing excellent service to seniors.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid state driver's license (CDL license may be required per state or local regulations)
- Passenger endorsement (if required by state regulations)
- At least 3 years of driving record and a clean driving history
- At least 1 year of previous experience driving a passenger vehicle, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting
- Experience in operating large vehicles or an equivalent combination of experience and training
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional, friendly, and patient demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and commitment to treating residents with respect
