Engineering Manager

Coherent is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams in the development of laser and measurement products for various markets. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in laser systems and experience in engineering leadership roles.

Requirements

• BS degree in Optical Engineering, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
• 7–10 years of experience in laser or photonics product development
• 2–5 years of experience in an engineering leadership role
• Experience leading multidisciplinary development teams
• Strong technical judgment with system-level thinking
• Clear written/verbal communication and comfort translating business needs into executable requirements and engineering plans
• Experience with engineering project management tools/methods
