Senior Engineer

The Senior Engineer will study and recommend measures to improve manufacturing cost and efficiency, establish equipment and headcount capacity, and develop/maintain models for capacity planning. The role requires strong leadership capabilities, analytical skills, and ability to work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or its equivalents
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Industrial engineering
• Leadership capabilities to manage a virtual team
• Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills
• AutoCAD knowledge
• Analytical and able to interact at all levels
• MTM, MOST or other work measurement methods
• Cost consciousness
