
Job description
CESI is seeking a highly motivated Cyber Range Engineer to join the Range Operations team working in the Persistent Cyber Training Environment – Operations Group (PCTE-OG). The Cyber Range Engineer will design, implement, and maintain advanced cyber training environments. The position is full-time on-site in Ft. Meade, MD.
Support the planning, build, and execution of cybersecurity training, mission rehearsal, and validation events within cyber range environments. Build and configure cyber range content, implement and operate offensive and defensive training content, and provide event support during execution windows.
The successful candidate possesses hands-on experience in both Windows and Linux systems, virtualized infrastructures, and cybersecurity tools, with the ability to develop, deploy, and troubleshoot complex training scenarios. Must be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment and able to work with a range of engineers holding a diverse set of skills at differing levels of experience.
