Role Overview

As a Data Engineer B.I., you will join our AI & Data Platforms expertise, supporting organizations in leveraging their data and fulfilling their AI ambitions. You will be part of a journey with two impacts: a client impact and an internal impact, where you will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes, work on data preparation, transformation, and integration, and contribute to the migration or implementation of SAS Viya platforms.

What You Will Do

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS Viya, work on data preparation, transformation, and integration, develop and optimize SAS programs and queries for performance and scalability, contribute to the migration or implementation of SAS Viya platforms, and design and maintain data models and reporting layers for BI use cases.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS Viya
• Work on data preparation, transformation, and integration to ensure high data quality and consistency
• Develop and optimize SAS programs and queries for performance and scalability
• Contribute to the migration or implementation of SAS Viya platforms
• Design and maintain data models and reporting layers for BI use cases
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance within SAS environments
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and improve system performance
• Stay up to date with SAS ecosystem evolutions and BI best practices
