Part - Time Instructor, Criminal Justice - FY 2026

The College of Southern Nevada is seeking a Part-Time Instructor for its Criminal Justice program. Responsibilities include teaching live classes, developing lesson plans, and providing student advisement and recruitment activities. An earned Master's Degree in Criminal Justice or a closely related discipline is required, along with at least 5 years of experience working directly for a criminal justice agency.

Requirements

• Earned Master's Degree in Criminal Justice or closely related discipline from a regionally accredited college or university
• At least 5 years of experience working directly for a criminal justice agency
• Ability to teach live classes at any of the three main CSN campuses
• Flexibility of schedule to teach live classes during the morning, afternoon, or evening
• Experience teaching college criminal justice or related courses
• Experience with CANVAS or other online learning management systems
