Part - Time Instructor, Welding Technology - FY 2026

The College of Southern Nevada is seeking a Part-Time Instructor for the Welding Technology program. The successful candidate will teach Welding Technology courses, demonstrate and assist students with lab procedures, and develop syllabi and course materials. 5 years of work-related experience and certifications such as CWE, CWI, or SCWI are required. The salary is $925.00 per lecture credit hour.

Requirements

• Lecture and Lab instruction for Welding Technology courses
• Demonstrate and assist students with lab procedures and ensure adherence to safety precautions
• Develop syllabi and course materials
• Independently evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes
• Make necessary provisions to meet learning needs
• Provide advisement to students
• Attend staff meetings and recruitment activities as requested
