Repair Technician

The Repair Technician tests, troubleshoots, and repairs electronic components and systems, in accordance with company policies and procedures. The role involves troubleshooting, repair, and testing of various electronic components and systems, managing repair reports and estimates, and completing required paperwork. Additionally, the position requires maintaining technical competency and staying current with industry changes.

Requirements

• Associate degree in electronics or two years of college in related electronics coursework
• Three to five years of repair/service-related experience
• Ability to operate a variety of standard business machines
• Proficiency in utilizing and operating electronic testing equipment and meters
• Ability to solder and remove whole components from printed circuit boards and SMT components
• Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams and technical specifications
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
