Power Plant Operator

Role Overview

As a Power Plant Operator at St. Anthony Hospital, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing equipment that provides power, heating, cooling, and ventilation to the hospital facility. You will work in a fast-paced environment and be essential to keeping the hospital operational 24/7.

What You Will Do

You will operate power systems, provide routine maintenance and inspections, monitor and track energy usage, and follow safety protocols. You will also diagnose and fix mechanical failures, and monitor complex systems to detect issues before they escalate.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• Knowledge of boilers, pumps, gauges, heating units and systems, hand tools, generators, ventilation equipment, plumbing fixtures and heating and cooling distribution systems.
• Knowledge of regulations imposed by local, state or other hospital authorities.
• Ability to troubleshoot systems as necessary.
• Proficient with multiple Building Automation System functions.
