Job description
The Senior Platform Engineer will report directly to an Engineering Chapter Lead and ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our platforms. The team builds, runs, and enhances edge security products and services to protect the CBA Group's internet-facing websites, web applications, APIs, and perimeter infrastructure.
Configure and support/migrate security platforms, deliver security platform use cases, develop and operationalise detection rules, build and maintain SOAR playbooks, and integrate security telemetry from enterprise systems.
The role requires strong experience in security platform engineering, SIEM, detection, and security telemetry platforms, as well as experience with Splunk, Palo Alto XSIAM, and cloud proficiency across AWS and Azure.
